At GVMA’s urging, the Georgia Pharmacy Board has agreed to amend the current emergency rule 480-11-0.47-.11 allowing a veterinarian to dispense office stock of non-patient specific compounded preparations for emergencies from a 96-hour supply to a 14-day allowance.
