Home / Practice Resources / Radiology Safety and Certification
Did you know that the law requires any support staff helping with x-rays must have taken a 6-hour safety certification course?
If your facility is inspected by the State Department of Human Resources, documentation must be presented indicating that your staff has received training. If you cannot provide this documentation your practice could be fined.
The GVMA has partnered with RAD 101 Radiological Training to provide an online radiological safety class for your staff using today’s modern practices and equipment.
Our partnership offers exclusive discounts to GVMA Members! Each GVMA member veterinarian can have staff register for the class at $75/person with a 20% discount. Group purchases of 5 or 10 memberships get an additional 20% off! Certificates of completion will be earned after passing the final exam online. It’s super easy and convenient for your practice!
We offer DVD’s featuring classic equipment, recording in the 80’s. The hairstyles may be vintage, but the practices are still standard.
GVMA Members – $150
Non-Members – $300
