Radiology Certification & Equipment Registration

Radiology Certification

Did you know that your support staff helping with x-rays must have taken a 6-hour safety certification course? The law that says your support staff must have this certification. If your facility is inspected by the State Department of Human Resources, documentation must be presented indicating that your staff has received training. If you cannot provide this documentation your practice could be fined.

The GVMA has collaborated with RAD 101 Radiological Training to provide an online radiological safety class for your staff. Certificates of completion will be earned after passing the final exam.

Each GVMA member veterinarian can have staff register for the class at $75/person with a 20% discount. Group purchases of 5 or 10 memberships are already discounted and then you get an additional 20% off. These course discounts are a special benefit available exclusively to members of the GVMA.
