MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Selena Lane, DVM, DACVECC

Dr. Selena Lane is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Georgia. She completed her DVM degree at NC State University in 2011, after which she completed a rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Purdue University. Dr. Lane then completed a specialty internship in Small Animal ECC in 2013, followed by her Emergency and Critical Care residency in 2016, both at the University of Georgia. Dr. Lane is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care. Her research interests include sepsis, respiratory disease, point-of-care diagnostics and monitoring in the ICU, and CPR.
